Time names iPhone “Invention of the Year”
Time magazine picked Apple’s iPhone as the invention of the year. The previous winner was Google-acquired Youtube.
The reasons are: (1) iPhone’s design is sleek and pretty, (2) great user interface (3) indirectly create competition to make better product, (4) it’s not just a phone - it’s a platform.
