Google’s OS Android
Not yet a phone, Google performs an Open Handset Alliance to develop new mobile platform known as Android. With T-mobile, HTC, Qualcomm, and Motorola as main supporters, Google will build a new multinational alliance of technology and mobile industry leaders. “This partnership will help unleash the potential of mobile technology for billions of users around the world,” said Google Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt.
