&lt;p&gt;i just translated an article about how Opera believes in standard, and safari (that's included on iPhone too) is a good browser on supporting standards too :)&lt;/p&gt;

I should agree that Web has standard, like W3C, and work with any kind of devices. Means that iPhone shouldn't create their own standard.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;if it goes on like this then you will not have the same/similar experience in any sites, which is not good when a user with a specific device/browser have a better/worse experience than the other.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It will be like hey asiablogging has a new interface for iPhones, sorry you're using another browser this won't work for you.. The web has standards and sites should stick with the standards and give the user the same/similar experience on any device/browser.&lt;/p&gt;
