Sometimes page cannot be viewed properly in phone-based browser since the site is designed to be viewed correctly in big screen. Luckily, now iPhone has set new standard on viewing site in phone. Even Google has to obey. Google managed to create better user interface, special for iPhone’s Safari browser. Any other site maker to follow?

from my point of view it’s better if Google/any site has a similar experience in any device..
if it goes on like this then you will not have the same/similar experience in any sites, which is not good when a user with a specific device/browser have a better/worse experience than the other.
It will be like hey asiablogging has a new interface for iPhones, sorry you’re using another browser this won’t work for you.. The web has standards and sites should stick with the standards and give the user the same/similar experience on any device/browser.

I don’t really see the differences between the normal google page and this. What adjustment is there?

I should agree that Web has standard, like W3C, and work with any kind of devices. Means that iPhone shouldn’t create their own standard.
@Aria
Maybe if you previously use iPhone to view Google page, it didn’t turn out to be that smooth as it is today.

@Amir i’m glad you agree
i just translated an article about how Opera believes in standard, and safari (that’s included on iPhone too) is a good browser on supporting standards too
